Installation & Setup
Connect to the Internet
Using the provided ethernet cable, connect your router to the LAN port on the player.
Though not recommended, if you wish to connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi, you’ll need to connect the player to your television/display via HDMI. For more information, reference the Player Requirements article.
Note: Your player must be connected to the Internet to scheduled music, updates, and maintenance.
Amplify Overhead Music
To amplify overhead music, use an RCA audio cable to connect your amplifier to the player via the AV (3.5mm) port.
To raise or lower the volume of your in-store music, you’ll use the + or - buttons on the remote control included with the player.
Power On
Connect the AC power adapter to your player, then plug it into a power supply (using a surge protector). It may take several minutes for the player to boot and prepare media.
Note: Don’t use an outlet controlled by a light switch.
Once your player has been installed and powered on, call Spectrio Support at (800) 584-4653 to verify connectivity.
Customize Your Music
You can update and customize your in-store music by logging into GRRID account and accessing Overhead Music from the dashboard.
